How do you pick up passengers at Miami airport?

To pick up arriving visitors at the airport, follow the signs to Arrivals, located on the lower level. To drop off passengers, follow the signs to Departures on the upper level.

Picking up passengers at Miami International Airport (MIA) requires choosing between three main methods: the Cell Phone Lot, curbside pickup, or garage parking. The Cell Phone Lot is the most efficient choice; located just off LeJeune Road and NW 31st Street, it offers 60 free spaces where you can wait until your passenger has retrieved their bags and is standing at the curb. For curbside pickup, you must head to the "Arrivals" level (Level 1). Note that MIA is divided into North (American Airlines), Central, and South terminals; you should ask your passenger which "Door Number" they are standing near (e.g., Door 4 or Door 15) to find them quickly. Security is very strict and will not allow you to wait or park at the curb; you must be actively loading. If your passenger needs more time, use the Dolphin or Flamingo garages, which charge approximately $2 for every 20 minutes. For those using rideshare apps like Uber or Lyft, pickups occur on the Arrivals Level (Level 1) at designated zones located across from Doors 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 11, 15, 20, and 30.
