In 2026, Disneyland and Walt Disney World have become almost entirely cashless environments. The primary way to spend money is through MagicBand+ or the Disney App (MagicMobile), which are linked to your credit card. You simply tap your wrist or phone at shops and restaurants. Most guests also use the app for Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering, which is now the standard for quick-service dining. For those who prefer physical payment, all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover), Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Disney Gift Cards are widely accepted. While cash is still technically accepted at some merchandise locations, many "vending" style locations and almost all food stalls in 2026 have moved to "Tap-to-Pay" only. If you only have cash, you can purchase a Disney Gift Card at Guest Relations to use throughout the parks.
