The general policy of the Disneyland Resort is to allow Photos and Video to be taken, unless directed otherwise at specific attractions. The following list will talk about Disneyland, California Adventure, Downtown Disney and the Hotels. There are a couple of basic policies that can be found at certain attractions.

Suitcases, bags, coolers or backpacks, with or without wheels, larger than 24 long x 15 wide x 18 high (61 cm x 38 cm x 46 cm) are not allowed in any theme park. Loose or dry ice is not permitted in these containers. Re-usable ice packs are recommended.
It is NOT customary to tip PhotoPass photographers as they are theme park Cast Members just like the ones who host attractions or sell popcorn. The service is free and you only pay for what you wish to purchase.
All ticketed Disneyland Resort Guests will receive complimentary Disney PhotoPass digital attraction photos as a take-home souvenir. You can access these downloadable photos for free in the Disneyland App starting February 4, 2023.

At the time of activation, a ticket will be associated with one Guest. Each ticket holder will have their photo taken at the park entrance. That photo will be used to verify each Guest when they use their ticket for re-entry on the same day as well as on subsequent days for a multi-day ticket.
