How does Halloween work at Disney World?

What happens during Halloween time at Walt Disney World Resort? Well, it's a resort-wide celebration that includes festive decorations, delicious seasonal snacks and menu additions, plenty of Halloween-themed merch, and a few fun extras you won't be able to experience at any other time of the year.

Halloween at Walt Disney World in 2026 is anchored by Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, a separately ticketed event held on select nights at Magic Kingdom. The park closes early (at 6:00 PM) for regular guests, while party-goers can enter as early as 4:00 PM. This special event features exclusive entertainment like the "Boo-to-You" Halloween Parade, the "Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular" stage show, and "Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular" fireworks. Guests of all ages are encouraged to wear costumes and can participate in "Trick-or-Treating" at various treat stations throughout the park. In 2026, ticket prices typically range from $120 to $250, depending on the date. Outside of the party, all four parks and Disney Springs feature seasonal decorations, specialty food and beverage items, and themed merchandise, though the Magic Kingdom is the only park that hosts the official costume-friendly late-night event.
