How does paid parking work in Dubai?

The RTA has deployed specified machines across parking lots in Dubai to simplify the process to pay parking charges in Dubai. These machines use the NOL card to charge parking fees for your parking duration. The amount is deducted from your NOL balance, and you are issued a parking ticket for the same.
