How does Ryanair Wallet work?

Your Ryanair Wallet is where any refund you have requested and are entitled to in relation to a flight disruption is initially stored. If your flight is cancelled and you request a refund, it will be deposited to your Ryanair Wallet within 24 hours.

The Ryanair Wallet is a digital account feature integrated into the "myRyanair" profile, designed to streamline the refund process for flight disruptions. When a passenger is eligible for a refund or a reimbursement of expenses due to a cancellation or significant delay, Ryanair typically deposits the funds into this virtual wallet instead of directly back to the original payment method. Once the credit is in your wallet, you have two primary options: you can use the balance to immediately book a new flight on the Ryanair website or app, or you can choose to withdraw the amount to your original form of payment. The goal of the wallet system is to provide a faster alternative to traditional bank processing times, which can take several days. It allows frequent travelers to keep their funds ready for future travel while still maintaining the legal right to a full cash refund if they prefer not to use the credit. You can access the wallet by logging into your account, where you can view your balance and transaction history in real-time.
