How does TFI 90 minute fare work?

TFI 90 allows TFI Leap Card customers the option to transfer between train, bus, and tram services in the Dublin area at no additional cost for 90 minutes. There is also a Short Fare which applies to any one single trip on eligible services of approximately 3km or less.
