How does the UGA bus work?

Anyone with a valid UGA ID can also ride Athens Transit for free. UGA bus routes are subject to change based on campus need. Live track the bus on the UGA App or on routes.uga.edu for the most accurate information. Limited bus service is provided during university holidays, Maymester, and Summer sessions.

To keep buses clean and safe, any food or drink you bring on board must be in a closed container that is spill-proof. Coffee and other beverages can be consumed on board provided the beverage is carried in a sturdy container with a lid that will prevent the liquid from spilling.
