How far back does FlightStats go?

Can you tell me more about the Historical Flight Status feature on FlightStats.com? Historical Flight Status allows you to look up and see details for a flight that happened in the past. To use the tool, login and select Historical Flight Status from the Flights Menu. Information is available all the way back to 2006.
