How far in advance can I renew a Railcard?

The 26–30 has a minimum fare of £12 between 04:30 and 10:00 on weekdays. The 16–25 has the same restriction, but the minimum does not apply to Advance fares, and it does not apply during July and August. Also you can use the 16–25 Railcard on the Caledonian Sleeper, but not 26–30.

You can buy a Senior Pass if you are 60 or over on the date you choose to start your trip. If you're 59 on your first day of travel, you'll need to order an Adult Pass. The senior discount is available for either 1st class or 2nd class travel.

If you order online then yes, you can order one up to 14 days in advance of your 60th birthday. Please note that you cannot buy Railcards in advance of your 60th birthday from rail stations.
