How soon in advance can you book a Walt Disney World vacation? In general, Walt Disney World releases vacation packages in May or June for the upcoming year. As of May 31, 2023, you can now book Walt Disney World packages, theme park tickets and hotel rooms through the end of 2024.



For 2026 arrivals, you can generally purchase Walt Disney World and Disneyland tickets and packages up to 500 days (approx. 16 months) in advance. While date-based tickets for the general public are usually released in the spring for the following year, booking early is highly recommended to lock in current pricing and take advantage of "early bird" promotions. In 2026, many UK and international visitors are utilizing "Magic Tickets" that can be booked a year ahead with significant discounts. For Disney Resort guests, booking your stay alongside your tickets allows you to participate in the "60-day window" for dining reservations and other specialized experiences. While the mandatory "Park Pass Reservation" system has been removed for most standard date-based tickets, it is still wise to buy early to ensure your desired dates aren't impacted by seasonal sell-outs or price hikes.
