How far in advance do you need to buy Disneyland tickets?

Theme park reservations can be made up to 120 days in advance. We're just shy of your visit dates opening up for reservations. When they do open up for booking, you can purchase your tickets.



In 2026, because of the "Park Reservation System," you should ideally buy Disneyland tickets and book your dates 60 to 120 days in advance, especially for peak periods. While tickets themselves rarely "sell out," the park reservations required to enter do. For major holidays like Christmas, Spring Break, or the start of a new festival, reservations can fill up 2–3 months ahead. For a standard mid-week visit in the "off-season," 2–3 weeks' notice is usually sufficient. Note that the reservation window opens 240 days in advance for standard ticket holders and 90 days for Magic Key holders. If you are traveling from afar, booking early ensures you aren't stuck with a ticket but no "reservation" to actually enter the park. Always check the "Availability Calendar" on the Disneyland website before purchasing to ensure your desired dates aren't already blocked out.
