How fast do you go on the Tower of Power Siam Park?

If you like adrenaline, you cannot miss it! In this water slide of a height of 28m you can reach a speed of up to 80km/h, finishing the ride passing through a huge aquarium full of sharks and rays.

On the Tower of Power at Siam Park in Tenerife, riders reach exhilarating speeds of up to 80 km/h (approximately 50 mph). This signature attraction is a "freefall" water slide that features a near-vertical drop of 28 meters (92 feet). The sensation is one of pure adrenaline as you plunge down the steep chute in just a matter of seconds. The most famous part of the ride occurs at the very end, where your high-speed momentum carries you through a transparent acrylic tube that passes through a massive aquarium filled with sharks and rays. Because of the extreme speed and the vertical nature of the drop, the ride has strict requirements, including a minimum height of 1.40 meters and a minimum age of 14. It is widely considered the most intense and iconic ride in the park, which has been voted the best water park in the world for several consecutive years. The combination of the sheer drop, the high-velocity finale, and the surreal experience of "racing" past predatory sea life makes it a bucket-list item for thrill-seekers.
