The train is fantastic, comfortable, reliable and fast, getting you to heathrow in 15 minutes. However it is very expencive, when you can take tube or the TFL rail for much cheaper. Heathrow express is less stressful and crowded than the tube. So do I recommend it?

The Elizabeth Line offers a reasonable, more budget-friendly option for travelling to Heathrow. It's likely to be the best train to Heathrow if you're coming from East or Central London, as it avoids the need to change at Paddington. It's also the cheapest option if you need to travel at the last-minute.
The journey between London Paddington and Heathrow Central (for terminals 2 & 3) takes 15 minutes. The journey on to Terminal 5 takes only 3 minutes extra.
The maximum speed currently possible in the UK is 186mph, achieved by Eurostar trains on the HS1 line between London and the Channel Tunnel. The HS1 line is used by Eurostar services and Javelin commuter services from Kent, although the latter have a max speed of 140mph.
UBER | Ubers are a cheap taxi into Central London from Heathrow. Most rides cost around £35-40, but you have to call for a driver once you're outside of arrivals and then wait for 10-15 minutes as they enter the airport and come up through into a parking garage.
The distance you are travelling should impact your choice. Hiring a cab in London is quite economical if you are travelling small distances within the city. The fares will usually stay under your budget for short distance travelling. However, for longer routes, the prices can go a little higher when compared with Uber.
TfL toilet facilities are free to access, but some non-TfL facilities may be chargeable. Other public toilets may be available near to stations. Some facilities are inside the station's ticket gates.
Heathrow Express trains from Heathrow to London, have a journey time of 15 minutes non-stop into London Paddington, when travelling from Heathrow Central station. Trains leaving Terminal 5 station will take six minutes to travel to Heathrow Central before running directly into London Paddington.
Heathrow has argued it needs higher fees to provide a good service, pay its shareholders returns and fund investment such as new security scanners which mean liquids can stay in bags and a modern baggage system for one of its terminals.
