Slinky Dog Dash is a great ride with a popular theme (Toy Story). It's one of my favorite rides at Disney World, and I'm an adult with no particular attachment to Toy Story. It's a smooth, fun coaster that offers great views of the park.

The track is elevated, without scenery or props or mountains or anything on either side of it. But surprise! What is this? If you can only ride Slinky Dog Dash once, I suggest skipping it while it's light out and coming back to it after dark. While there is more to see at Toy Story Land during the day, the nighttime feel is a bit more magical. It's cooler too, or (in the summertime at least) not so hot in the evening.
You could even queue one minute before the park closes – the ride will accommodate anyone in line before the official closing time. So if Hollywood Studios closes at 10:00pm, just make sure you get into line a few minutes beforehand and you'll get to be one of the last guests to experience Slinky Dog Dash that night.

Slinky Dog Dash is a fun and thrilling roller coaster in Toy Story Land. Though it is far from the most thrilling ride at Hollywood Studios, it still is a great ride! There are a lot of great seats on this ride, but the best is in the back row.

The worst seat on this ride, in my opinion, is the front row because Slinky Dog's head is very big and blocks most of the view.
