How is breakfast in Spain different from breakfast in the United States?

Breakfast is usually just coffee and a pastry. In America, we're used to large breakfasts that consist of eggs, pancakes, French toast … the works. In Spain, breakfast is typically much smaller, and often consists of just coffee and a pastry, or maybe tomatoes on a piece of bread.
