How late can you be to a Disney reservation?

In general, it's recommended to arrive on time for your reservation to ensure you are seated promptly. Typically, Disney has a grace period of about 15 minutes to allow for some flexibility. If you arrive within that time frame, you can usually still be accommodated.

Disney dining and experience reservations generally have a 15-minute "grace period." If you arrive within 15 minutes of your scheduled time, the host will almost always be able to seat you without issue. If you are running later than 15 minutes, it is highly recommended to use the "Chat" feature in the My Disney Experience app to notify the restaurant; in many cases, they will still try to accommodate you, though your wait might be longer once you arrive. If you miss the reservation entirely without canceling at least 2 hours in advance (as of 2026 rules), you will be charged a "No-Show" fee, which is typically $10 per person on the reservation. For some high-end venues like Victoria & Albert's or Monsieur Paul, the late and cancellation fees are significantly higher, sometimes up to $100 per person. To avoid these charges during a busy park day, it is always best to "check in" via the app as you are walking toward the restaurant to lock in your arrival status.
