How long are Disney photos available?

A: Disney PhotoPass photos, photos from select dining locations, photos from select attractions and any other media in your account are subject to the Disney PhotoPass Expiration Policy and currently expire 45 days from the date the photo was taken.

For both Walt Disney World and Disneyland, your PhotoPass photos and digital content are generally available in your account for 45 days from the date they were captured. Once this 45-day window expires, the photos are permanently deleted from Disney's servers and can no longer be accessed or purchased. If you realize your photos are about to expire and you aren't ready to download them, you can purchase a one-time, 15-day extension via the Disney website, bringing the total availability to 60 days. There is a notable exception for certain high-tier Annual Passholders (such as the Disney Platinum or Gold tiers): these guests often have access to their photos for 365 days from the date of capture. Regardless of your status, it is a high-value strategy to download your photos to your personal device as soon as possible after your trip to ensure your vacation memories are safely backed up before the "expiration clock" runs out.
