The old tickets from back in the day do not expire. There are stories of people who found old printed tickets from the 1980's that were still able to use them and go into the parks. Unfortunately, that is a thing of the past. All tickets from the past decade and on all have expiration dates on them.
At minimum, guests will need to visit at least 6 times (as long as they park hop) or 9 times (if they don't park hop) to get their money's worth on the highest level pass. If you are satisfied with one trip to Disney World in a year, the Annual Pass might not provide enough value to be worth the major spend.

The Dream Key has since been replaced with the Inspire Key, the resort's most expensive pass that offers the fewest blockout dates. Disney fans who purchased the discontinued pass will receive an approximate payout of $67.41 without having to fill out any claim submission form.
