How long do I have to upgrade my Disney ticket to a pass?

A wholly unused, expired ticket may be upgraded at any time. A used ticket must be upgraded on or before the last valid day of use of the ticket. A ticket may only be upgraded to an available Magic Key pass so long as the current price of the pass is equal to or greater than the amount paid for the ticket.
