How long do you need at St Kitts?

What makes it such an awesome Caribbean destination is that you can see St Kitts in one day by rental car, or take a whole week to explore. St. Thomas will be a bit more crowded and has better and more Duty Free shopping than St. Kitts but St. Kitts has been discovered in recent years so the number of tourists and cruise ships visiting the island has increased dramatically in the last few years as has the number shops and tourist oriented activities.
