How long do you stay at the Disney College Program?

The paid, semester-long internship program allows students to live just outside Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, or the Disneyland Resort in California, while earning college credit at Disney parks and resorts through a combination of on-the-job experience, shadowing, and seminars.
After leaving the program, participants are invited to join the Alumni Association and receive special information and items. If your child has not received this invitation, they may sign up here. Students who are registered for a single class must successfully complete that class to remain eligible. All students must have completed 12 credit hours and maintain a cumulative 2.0 GPA. These credentials must be fulfilled by the conclusion of the semester that precedes the DCP internship.
Step 1: Make sure you meet the eligibility requirements.Achieving a program GPA of 2.0 or higher. Being enrolled at a college or university in the semester prior to your internship with the Disney College Program (Disney requirement).
There are three different bedroom/bathroom apartment configurations, each designed for 4 people. You can choose from (from lower to higher cost order) a 2BR/2BA, with each bedroom and bathoom shared; a 4BR/2BA, with private bedroom and shared bathroom; or a 4BR/4BA with private bedrooms and bathrooms.
If you don't already know how to cook, it would be a good idea to learn before you arrive. Unlike college, the DCP does not offer meal plans and eating out will get very expensive. If you plan to live in housing, you should be aware there are very strict rules.
Eligibility. Students must be enrolled as a full-time or part-time student in a School of Culinary Arts, or enrolled in a culinary/baking and pastry school or have graduated within 24 months of the application posting date.
If you do not purchase a decal, you should not bring your vehicle, as you will NOT have a place to park. Once parking decals sell out, there may not be another opportunity to purchase a decal. If you do not have a vehicle, you may use the complimentary bus transportation, which can take you to and from work.
