How long does Christmas at Disneyland last?

Disneyland Christmas runs from early November to the first week of January giving guests plenty of time to enjoy the festivities. Disneyland at Christmas offers so much to see and do for guests including themed attractions, a holiday parade and fireworks, fantastic holiday food, festivals, and breathtaking decor!

The holiday season at Disneyland Resort in California typically runs for about eight weeks. For the 2025–2026 season, the celebration officially began on November 14, 2025, and continued through January 7, 2026. This timeframe includes both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure. During these two months, the resort features "A Christmas Fantasy Parade," the "Believe... In Holiday Magic" fireworks, and the iconic "it's a small world" Holiday overlay. After the official end date in early January, the parks undergo a "de-corating" process where the giant Christmas trees and garlands are removed almost overnight. However, some aspects, like the "Haunted Mansion Holiday" (the Nightmare Before Christmas overlay), sometimes stay up a few days longer or close shortly after for a brief refurbishment to return the ride to its original state.
