How long does Hollywood Studios take to go through?

A full day to take in everything would be best. Make sure you get fast passes for the rides that usually have the longest wait times, like toy story ride, rockin roller coaster, and tower of terror....all great rides not to be missed. All the shows are great, so you can't go wrong with any you choose.

To "fully" experience Disney’s Hollywood Studios in 2026—including the major lands of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and Toy Story Land—you should plan for one full day (roughly 12 to 14 hours). Unlike EPCOT, which is geographically sprawling, Hollywood Studios is more compact but is densely packed with high-demand "thrill" rides that have long wait times. If you want to ride Rise of the Resistance, Slinky Dog Dash, Tower of Terror, and Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, while also catching high-quality stage shows like Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular and the nighttime Fantasmic!, a single day is just enough. For first-time visitors who want a more relaxed pace or for those who want to experience the interactive "Datapad" missions in Galaxy's Edge, splitting the park into two half-days is a popular strategy. This allows you to visit in the morning for rides and return another evening for dinner at Sci-Fi Dine-In and the fireworks. If you are only interested in a few "headline" rides and use a Lightning Lane pass, you can theoretically "finish" the park in about 6 to 7 hours, but you would miss the atmospheric details that make the park unique.
