Getting to Fiji from the U.S. takes many hours, but it's relatively easy because there are direct flights from LA to Nadi Airport. There are also flights from Vancouver via Honolulu. Traveling to Bora Bora is a bit more complicated, as you have to make your way to Tahiti first.
