How long does Memory Maker last?

How Long Does Memory Maker Access Last? Memory Maker access lasts for thirty (30) days and is triggered by “downloading or unlocking” a PhotoPass photo.

The duration of Disney’s Memory Maker depends on when you activate it and when the photos are taken. Generally, once you activate the Memory Maker service (which you typically do when you download your first photo in the My Disney Experience app), it is valid for 30 days. During this 30-day window, you can capture and download an unlimited number of photos and videos taken at the theme parks, including character meet-and-greets, ride photos, and shots from PhotoPass photographers throughout the resort. However, individual photos have their own separate "life span"; under the standard policy, photos expire and are permanently deleted from your account 45 days after the date they were taken. If you visit the parks over a 10-day trip, your first-day photos will expire 45 days later, even if your Memory Maker "window" is still technically active. You can purchase a one-time 15-day extension for a fee if you need more time to download them. It is important to remember that if you purchase "Memory Maker One Day," it is only valid for photos taken on a single, specific calendar day of your choosing.
