Where is Halloween Horror Nights? Halloween Horror Nights runs select nights from September 7 through October 31 at Universal Studios Hollywood and September 1 through November 4 at Universal Orlando Resort.



In 2026, Universal Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights (HHN 35) is scheduled to be the longest season in the event's history, running for a total of 48 select nights. The event officially kicks off on August 28 and runs through November 1. Typically, the event takes place every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night, plus Halloween night itself. On these "event nights," the park closes early to daytime guests (usually around 5:00 PM) and reopens for the "scare-mony" at 6:30 PM, staying open as late as 2:00 AM. Because the event is so popular, particularly on Friday and Saturday nights, Universal offers various ticket options including "Frequent Fear" passes for those who want to attend multiple times. The 2026 season marks the 35th anniversary of the event, and as such, it features 10 haunted houses, 5 scare zones, and live entertainment that spans over two full months of "spooky season" festivities.

I will say, first off, that our event is labeled PG-13, says Sauls, reflecting the official language on the HHN website that reads, WARNING: Event may be too intense for young children and is not recommended for children under the age of 13.
