How long is a Memory Maker purchase good for?

How Long Does Memory Maker Access Last? Memory Maker access lasts for thirty (30) days and is triggered by “downloading or unlocking” a PhotoPass photo.

When you purchase Memory Maker at Walt Disney World, the "window" for capturing photos depends on the type of entitlement you buy. For the standard "advance purchase" or "full price" Memory Maker, you can capture unlimited photos for 30 days from the date of the first photo taken or the date you activate the entitlement. Once a photo is taken, you have a 45-day expiration window to download it before it is permanently deleted from the Disney PhotoPass system. For the "Memory Maker One Day" option, you receive all photos captured on a single selected day of your choice. In 2026, the 45-day expiration policy remains a strict standard, though guests can pay a fee for a one-time 15-day extension if they need more time to organize their vacation memories. It is important to link your Memory Maker to your "My Disney Experience" account immediately so that all attraction photos, character meet-and-greets, and professional "Magic Shots" are automatically funneled into your gallery for viewing.
