How long is a round trip on the Skyliner?

The Skyliner is a gondola system that will connect Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios and the International Gateway at Epcot. It will have 11 stations and three routes with six stops each between them. The fastest route takes 12 minutes to complete one round trip from end to end.

Are there long lines to board Skyliner? During the morning and evening rush lines can be as long as 15 to 20 minutes at the Caribbean Beach station. Transportation at Walt Disney World whether you're waiting for a bus, monorail, boat or gondola, will usually be about 20 minutes when the parks are opening and closing.

Does the Skyliner close if it rains? During storms or high winds, or if lightning has been detected nearby, the Disney Skyliner does close. When that happens, bus transportation will be provided.

This transportation system might have a temporary closure in early 2024. Disney hasn't made any announcements yet, but we saw refurbishment closures in both 2022 and 2023. Once you board the correct gondola and this ride takes off, your next stop is Hollywood Studios, which is only a few minutes away! If there are no lines for the Disney Skyliner, then I estimate it will take less than ten minutes in the air to go from Pop Century to Hollywood Studios.

But you can't walk to any of the theme parks from that resort. There are no sidewalks, and walking in the street is not recommended at all (as many people drive like complete idiots).

The Disney Skyliner station at EPCOT is located at the International Gateway entrance, which is located at the back of the theme park in World Showcase. Unfortunately, there's no way to walk between these two stations without walking through EPCOT.

The only way to get between these stations is to walk through EPCOT, so you would not be able to transfer between the monorail and the Disney Skyliner without admission.
