How long is Disney decorated for Christmas?

I've found in the past that you'll often find Christmas decor around the Resort during the first week in January, but usually, the theme park decorations will disappear the Monday after the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend.

In 2026, the holiday season at Walt Disney World and Disneyland officially begins on the first or second Friday of November and typically runs until the first weekend of January. Specifically, for the 2026–2027 season, you can expect decorations to be fully installed by November 6, 2026, and remain through January 4, 2027. A supportive peer "logistics" note: while the parks "feel" like Christmas for two months, the transition is incredibly fast. Magic Kingdom transforms from Halloween to Christmas literally overnight on November 1st. If you want to see the decorations without the peak crowds, the first two weeks of December are the "sweet spot." However, be aware that while the decorations stay up until early January, the special entertainment like the "Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party" usually concludes on or before December 22nd to accommodate the massive Christmas week crowds.
