How long is Emirates flight training?

The Emirates Flight Training Academy ATPL course duration is approximately 113 weeks and is divided into a theoretical knowledge course and practical flying.

The duration of Emirates flight training depends on whether you are training as cabin crew or as a pilot. For cabin crew (flight attendants), the intensive training program at the Emirates Aviation College in Dubai typically lasts about 7 to 8 weeks. This program covers safety and emergency procedures (SEP), medical training, security, and service standards. For pilots, the Emirates Flight Training Academy offers a comprehensive cadet program that takes approximately 104 weeks (24 months) to complete. This "zero to hero" course takes students from no flying experience to a Commercial Pilot License with an Instrument Rating (CPL/IR) and eventually a Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC) certificate, preparing them for a career on the airline's fleet of Boeing 777s or Airbus A350s.
