How long is the monorail ride from Grand Floridian to Epcot?

While riding on the monorail is a fun and unique experience, it is not the quickest way to get to Epcot. I estimate it will take 35-45 minutes to get there from the Grand Floridian. Here's why: First, you must go through security at the Grand Floridian and then wait in line for the next Resort Monorail to arrive.
