How long is the Skyride at Sentosa?

To complete 1 Luge & Skyride is 15 - 20 minutes. Please be aware that during school holidays and peak hours it may take longer.

The Skyride at Sentosa (part of the Skyline Luge experience) is a 4-seater chairlift that spans a distance of approximately 315 meters. The ride takes roughly 6 to 8 minutes to travel from the Siloso Beach station up to the Imbiah Lookout at the top of the hill. In 2026, it remains one of the best ways to get a panoramic view of the Singapore skyline and the South China Sea. Most guests use it as the "uphill" portion of their ticket, riding the chairlift up before racing down one of the four Luge tracks (Dragon, Expedition, Kupu Kupu, or Jungle). If you are just riding for the view, the "Skyride Only" ticket is available, but most travelers opt for the "3-ride combo" to maximize their time. During the 2026 "Night Luge" events, the Skyride is illuminated with LED lights, offering a uniquely vibrant perspective of the island's nighttime forest.

Whenever we have gone (usually weekdays and early evening) the queues have been short, the price inexpensive and the fun worth the time and the money spent to get it. Everyone in the SQ320 household enjoys this, even if they are too young to have their own kart and have to sit in front with a parent.

Starting with the good, Skyline Queenstown was a lot of fun and I'd highly recommend it. The gondola up itself is kind of cool but the viewing deck at the top has amazing views of Queenstown and is very spacious. The Luge is a must try.
