How long is the walk from Port Orleans French Quarter to Riverside?

The walk from the lobby building of Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter to the Ol' Man Island pool at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside is about a 1/2 mile walk (a little less than 1 km). It should not take you more than 12-15 minutes as you stroll alongside the Sassagoula River.

It's walkable if you are used to doing a lot of walking and the weather cooperates. Stay on St. Charles Avenue for the first several blocks and you will be reasonable safe. If you have concerns with weather or safety, just jump on the streetcar.
