How long should you spend at Animal Kingdom?

Animal Kingdom – 1 Day I could spend 2 days in Animal Kingdom, no problem. But I think conventional wisdom points to most people only spending a day here. Even though I'm always right about everything, I'll go with the better travel advice. It's not going to take much time to get the big attractions done here.

In general the best days of the week to visit the Disney World parks are Tuesday and Wednesday. The reason being is many families find that you need an entire week for a Disney vacation and typically arrive on Saturday or Sunday. Of all the Walt Disney World parks to visit at night, I would highly recommend taking the time to spend a few hours at Animal Kingdom after dark. This park is a totally different place at night, and has such a different feel than during the day. It's definitely worth exploring after dark!

The buildings have the names of the different animals on them. The CM told us that none of the animals stay in their natural habitats at night. All animals that roam in their natural habitats during the daylight go into their assigned buildings and stables at night.
