Visit Harry Potter™ Studios during the first half of the day. The tours are lengthy and take anywhere between 3 and 7 hours. Hence, it is recommended that you book an early slot because the crowd peaks at around 4 PM. You can enjoy a stress-free and pleasant experience.
Studio Tour staff will advise visitors who have missed their Allocated Entry Time of the next available time slot but at busy times it may not be possible to find a time on the same day in which case it will be necessary to re-book an Allocated Entry Time.
And as you can imagine there are so many amazing things to do in each section, you should give yourself at least two days to experience everything the Wizarding World of Harry Potter has to offer.
There are lots of exciting photo opportunities throughout the attraction to ensure you take home an everlasting memory. The taking of photographs and video footage with handheld cameras and mobile devices is allowed in most areas, apart from within the pre-show cinema and green screen areas.
In my opinion, you can absolutely fit everything you want to do in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in one day, even without Express Passes. You just need to be strategic about your itinerary!

To ensure you have the best experience possible, we have limited the number of visitors that can visit the Studio Tour at any one time. This means that you will need to book into a time slot ahead of your visit.
Things to consider: There is A LOT of walking around. We were there for just over SIX HOURS, and most of that was walking. There is a fair amount of queuing as well (see tip two!).
Inside the Harry Potter™ Studio in London, you'll find original sets from the Harry Potter movies like the Great Hall, the Forbidden Forest and the Diagon Alley.
That said, Wizarding World (like most of the rides at Universal Studios) is probably best suited for kids 7 & up. Kids who are already well-versed in all things Potter will have the best time since every nook and cranny is inspired by J.K. Rowling's sprawling imagination.
Plus, it's even possible to do both of the basic studio tours in a single day. That said, if your goal is to relax and not have to rush around L.A., then plan on visiting Warner Bros. on one day and Universal Studios Hollywood the next day. That way, you'll get more enjoyment out of both.
