How long will it take to finish Universal Studios?

Three days is ideal, particularly with a park-to-park pass, as it will allow you to fully explore each park and revisit your favorite attractions. A highlights tour of both parks can be done in one long day, but it would be tiring and you would miss many delightful smaller attractions.

To "finish" Universal Orlando Resort—which in 2026 includes Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure, and the new Epic Universe—you realistically need at least four to five full days. With the 2025 opening of Epic Universe (featuring lands like Super Nintendo World and Dark Universe), the resort has transformed into a week-long destination. You should budget one full day per park to see the major attractions and shows. If you are a fan of Harry Potter, you will want extra time to travel between Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade via the Hogwarts Express. For those who want to include the Volcano Bay water park and evenings at CityWalk, a 5-day ticket is the "sweet spot." If you only have two days, you can experience the highlights of the original two parks by using a Universal Express Pass to bypass long lines, but you will likely have to skip Epic Universe or move at an exhausting pace. In 2026, the crowds for Epic Universe remain high, so planning for a slower, multi-day approach is essential to avoid burnout.
