How many cars can you park at Fort Wilderness cabin?

There is room to park one vehicle per site (in addition to the camping vehicle) at no charge and each site is limited to 10 people. Additional parking is available at the main parking lot.

At the Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground in 2026, each cabin is assigned one designated parking space directly in front of the unit. Disney is strict about this "one car" rule to maintain the rustic, woodland atmosphere and prevent congestion on the narrow resort loops. If your party has a second vehicle, you must park it in the Main Outpost parking lot near the resort entrance, which is complimentary for resort guests. Furthermore, in 2026, many families opt to rent electric golf carts to navigate the 750-acre property, as internal bus service can be slow. It is important to note that starting in 2026, the maximum occupancy for campsites has been reduced to 8 guests, but the cabins still accommodate up to 6 people. Having only one car at the cabin encourages the use of the resort's internal transportation and keeps the environment safe for the many peacocks and deer that roam the grounds.
