There are technically six iconic centerpiece castles located at Disney's "castle parks" around the globe, each serving as the visual anchor for its respective Magic Kingdom-style park. In Florida, Cinderella Castle stands at Walt Disney World, while its smaller but historic counterpart, Sleeping Beauty Castle, resides in Disneyland California. Internationally, Tokyo Disneyland also features a Cinderella Castle, whereas Disneyland Paris boasts the unique Le Château de la Belle au Bois Dormant (Sleeping Beauty Castle) with its own dragon's lair. Hong Kong Disneyland recently reimagined its original structure into the taller, multi-cultural Castle of Magical Dreams in 2020. Finally, Shanghai Disneyland is home to the Enchanted Storybook Castle, which is the largest, tallest, and most interactive of them all, designed to represent all Disney princesses rather than just one. Beyond these six main landmarks, you can find "miniature" or secondary castles within the parks, such as the Beast’s Castle in the Magic Kingdom’s Fantasyland, but the official count for the primary park icons remains six.
