December to March is typically the best time to visit for good weather. The temperature is pleasant, and the humidity is bearable. The coldest month is January, but with highs of 24°C (75°F) and lows of 10°C (50°F), it's still pretty warm. December through February is the busiest time in the Keys.
Because there's not really a bad time to visit the Keys, finding a low price can be a challenge no matter what month you try. However, you'll likely have the best luck in “off” months like September and November.

Pack a light fleece jacket, hoodie, or comfy cardigan for evening dockside drinking. Jeans, leggings, joggers, or lightweight active pants are also practical. They can be easily cuffed during the day and let down when the night chills begin.
