As of 2026, there are 12 Disney theme parks in the world, distributed across six resort destinations on three continents. In North America, Walt Disney World Resort in Florida is the largest, housing four parks: Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The Disneyland Resort in California contains two: Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure. In Europe, Disneyland Paris consists of two parks: Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park. In Asia, there are three distinct resorts: Tokyo Disney Resort features Tokyo Disneyland and the unique Tokyo DisneySea; Hong Kong Disneyland Resort has a single theme park; and Shanghai Disney Resort also features one massive theme park. It is worth noting that while there are only 12 "theme" parks, Disney also operates two water parks (Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach in Florida), a dedicated Disney Cruise Line, and a private island (Castaway Cay). All 12 parks are unified by their focus on immersive storytelling, but each offers unique attractions tailored to its local culture, such as the "Gardens of Imagination" in Shanghai or the "Adventure Isle" in Hong Kong.
