In 2026, the service formerly known as Genie+ has been replaced at Walt Disney World by Lightning Lane Multi Pass. Under this new system, you can hold up to three initial reservations at any one time. When you purchase the service (up to 7 days in advance for resort guests or 3 days for others), you select three attractions and arrival windows. Once you arrive at the park and "tap in" to use your first selection, you can immediately use the My Disney Experience app to book a fourth reservation for a later time. This "rolling" system means you can effectively hold three active return times throughout the day; as soon as you redeem one, you are eligible to pick up another. At Disneyland in California, the system still functions similarly to the old Genie+ model where you generally book one at a time, but at both resorts, the goal is to keep your schedule full of "skip-the-line" opportunities as you move through the parks.
