How many Hilton points does it cost to book a room?

Free nights can be redeemed for as few as 5,000 Points per night and no more than 95,000 Points per night for a standard room. Select properties with specialty accommodations may require up to 120,000 Points per night for a standard room.

In 2026, Hilton Honors uses dynamic pricing, meaning the cost in points fluctuates based on the cash price of the room, the hotel brand, and the date. Standard room rewards generally range from 5,000 points at budget properties (like certain Hampton Inns) to 120,000 points at ultra-luxury resorts (like the Waldorf Astoria Maldives or Conrad Los Angeles). Some extremely high-end or "specialty" suites can even reach 150,000 points per night. For most travelers, a mid-tier stay at a Hilton Garden Inn or DoubleTree in a major city usually costs between 30,000 and 60,000 points. To maximize value, 2026 members aim for a redemption of at least 0.4 to 0.5 cents per point. A key perk for 2026 remains the "Fifth Night Free" on all-point stays for Silver members and above, which effectively provides a 20% discount on the total point cost of a five-night vacation.
