How many houses are there in Sentosa?

In 2014, there were 2,100 homes that range from high-rise condominiums to luxury bungalows with adjoining private berths for boats. As at June 2015, Sentosa Cove was home to a population of more than 5,000 people residing in 2,160 homes.

As of 2026, the residential population of Sentosa is concentrated in the ultra-luxury enclave of Sentosa Cove. According to the latest Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) data and local residential guides, there are approximately 2,160 private homes in the Cove. This total is a mix of landed property and high-end condominiums. Specifically, there are about 350 to 400 landed houses (bungalows and villas), many of which feature private berths for yachts—the only place in Singapore where such a feature exists. The remaining 1,700+ units are located within luxury condominium developments like The Oceanfront, Seven Palms, and W Residences. Sentosa Cove is unique because it is the only residential area in Singapore where non-citizens (foreigners) are permitted to purchase landed property, subject to approval from the Land Dealings Approval Unit. The area is designed as a "resort-style" community, featuring private marinas, the Quayside Isle dining promenade, and 24-hour security, catering to a global community of high-net-worth individuals seeking privacy and waterfront living just 15 minutes from the Central Business District.
