How many pigs are at Pig Beach?

Today, about 20 pigs and piglets call the island home. In fact, the area is informally known as Pig Island or Pig Beach, for obvious reasons! Pig Beach is located in a section of Bahamian islands known as The Exumas, an archipelago of 365 cays and islands beginning just 35 miles southeast of Nassau.

Pig Beach or Big Major Cay is located approximately 77 miles away from Nassau. Making it a long journey for travelers, but worth every minute and perfect for a day trip. The journey to Pig Beach will be either a 3-hour boat ride (don't recommend) or a 30-minute flight (highly recommend).
