Within the British Airways Executive Club (recently rebranded by some as The British Airways Club in 2026), you can transfer Avios to another member, but it comes with specific limits and fees. You can typically transfer up to 27,000 Avios per calendar year to another member for a flat fee, or significantly more if you are willing to pay per-tier costs. However, the most efficient way to share points is through a Household Account. A Household Account allows up to seven people living at the same address to pool their Avios for free, effectively allowing you to "transfer" or share a balance of hundreds of thousands of points without the usual transaction fees. If you are not in a Household Account, you can also "Gift" Avios, which allows you to purchase up to 200,000 Avios per year for a friend. It is important to note that the person receiving the Avios must have at least one Avios in their account already (or have a history of earning) to be eligible for a transfer.
