Overall, we had a wonderful family vacation and it was perfect as a way to celebrate my son's birthday, as he was absolutely enamored with the water park activities. So if your main reason to visit Atlantis is to take advantage of the water park and marine life activities, then it's definitely worth a trip.
It is expensive as it doubles the price of your ticket but it is certainly worth much more than you pay!! We had a top class experience at the park and when we go back there will be no question regarding the AquaXpress tickets, it makes your day so much more fun and hassle free!!!

MAIN Pool at the Water ParkAdjacent to the wading pool is a shaded sand area that was virtually empty the entire time of our visit. The large, main pool begins at 2 ½ feet while the center of the pool is the deepest at 5 feet. There are a total of three slides here designed with children in mind.
