As of early 2026, Princess Cruises has a fleet of 17 ships. The fleet is divided into several classes, including the massive "Sphere Class" (led by the brand-new Sun Princess and Star Princess), the "Royal Class" (which includes the Discovery, Enchanted, Sky, Majestic, Regal, and Royal Princess), and the smaller, more intimate "Grand Class" and "Coral Class" ships. The newest "Sphere Class" ships are a high-value milestone for the brand, as they are the first to be powered by Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) and feature a dramatic "Glass Dome" for entertainment. Every ship in the fleet is equipped with the MedallionClass technology, a high-value wearable device that replaces the room key and allows for "on-demand" food and drink delivery anywhere on the ship. While Princess has retired some of its "classic" smaller vessels in recent years, the current fleet of 17 represents a high-value balance between ultra-modern "mega-ships" and mid-sized vessels that can still reach more remote, exotic ports around the globe.
