Work-related deaths for taxi drivers and chauffeurs at a record low in 2018. Fatal work injuries to taxi drivers and chauffeurs declined 24 percent, from 62 in 2017 to 47 in 2018. This is the lowest total since 2003, when comparable data for the occupation were first available.
