There are a total of 19 official viewpoints along the edge of Victoria Falls, divided between Zimbabwe and Zambia. The Zimbabwean side (Victoria Falls National Park) contains the vast majority of these, with 16 distinct viewpoints (numbered 1 through 16) that offer the most iconic "head-on" views of the Main Falls, Horseshoe Falls, and the Rainbow Falls. The Zambian side (Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park) contains the remaining 3 viewpoints (17 through 19), which provide a unique perspective from the Knife-Edge Bridge and allow visitors to get much closer to the cascading water, especially during the dry season. In 2026, it is highly recommended to visit both sides using the KAZA Univisa, as the Zimbabwe side offers the grand panoramic "classic" view, while the Zambia side offers the thrill of being right on the lip of the gorge, including access to the famous Livingstone Island and Devil's Pool.
